You’ll sign an individual room-by-room tenancy agreement governed by the Residential Tenancies Act. This means you’re responsible only for your own rent and bond, not your housemates’. It gives you more stability, clarity and protection – and makes moving in and out a breeze.

Yes, within reason. We want you to be at home so you’re welcome to add your own touches to your bedroom. Firstly, chat with your Community Host Ashleigh to make sure any changes fit within our guidelines.

Life happens, just log a maintenance request through Propertyme as soon as possible. Our maintenance team usually responds within 24 hours to keep everything running smoothly. If it is urgent or an emergency call Ashleigh.

Spaces

Applying is easy. Start by completing the online application form at the link provided. You’ll be asked to upload a few documents to verify your identity and tenancy history.

Each room includes a comfortable bed, mattress, mattress protector, built-in storage, desk, chair, lamp, and block-out curtains. Most have ensuites and aircon. All the essentials are there so you can settle in from day one.

No. The bed, mattress and mattress protector are supplied, but please bring your own linens and pillows.

Each home has a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with top-quality appliances. Some rooms also include a refreshment hub (fridge and kettle), but cooking must be done in the shared kitchen.

Yes. Common areas are professionally cleaned every fortnight. You can book private room cleaning for an additional cost.

Exceptionally fast. Our fibre connection delivers speeds up to 4Gbps, ideal for remote work, gaming or streaming.

Limited onsite parking is available at extra cost, subject to availability. There is always street parking within a short walk.

Finding a Room

We’ll ask for:

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of income
  • Previous rental and character references
  • International applicants may also need to supply a passport or visa documentation.

Yes, as long as you hold a valid visa that allows you to live in New Zealand.

You’ll be invited to meet Ashleigh, your Community Host, view the home, meet some of the housemates and complete your tenancy agreement. Once the bond and first rent payment are made, you’re ready to move in on the agreed date.
